Internships

VIVO MEDIA ARTS CENTRE is committed to offering Technical Internships to three or four individuals at least twice per year. The Internships generally start in January and September and run for approximately 3 months. Each particpant is required to be available for 2 full working days / week (approximately 7 hours / day) PLUS a small number of evening shifts.

The Internship is open to experienced and in-experienced technically minded people or people with an interest in furthering their technical knowledge. It is also best suited for people who have an interest in Artist Run Centres, local artist or activist culture and how they might participate within these cultures from a technical perspective.

This programme is intended to increase the talent pool around the centre, while providing the community at large a chance to gain technical skills in a supportive environment.
